Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons allulose or other low carb sweetener
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 squares dark chocolate optional

Instructions
 

  • In a microwave-safe mug, whisk the egg until fluffy.
  • Add the melted butter and vanilla extract and whisk together.
  • Sieve the cocoa powder, baking powder and the sweetener and add to the mug, along with the salt. Mix until smooth and well combined
  • Push the chocolate square into the center of the batter.
  • Microwave on high for 50–70 seconds, depending on your microwave’s power. The top should look set but slightly soft in the middle.
  • Let cool for a minute before digging in—careful, it’s hot!

Notes

Makes 1 serving.
Top with cream or keto vanilla ice cream to serve.
