Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Nutella
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa, unsweetened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • In a microwave-safe mug (at least 8 oz) , whisk the egg until fully combined. T
  • Then add the Nutella and vanilla extract, and stir well until smooth and evenly mixed.
  • Add the sugar and cocoa powder and mix until smooth.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate chips (optional).
  • Cook in the microwave on high for 45-60 seconds. Start with 45 seconds, then check for doneness. The center should be set but still slightly soft. If needed, microwave in 10-second increments until done.
  • Let the mug cake cool for about a minute before eating. Optionally, top with whipped cream, powdered sugar, or extra Nutella for extra indulgence.
